현재 covid 19로 인해 전세계가 고통받고 있습니다.

저희 일본 파트너측에서도 일본 covid 19 로 인한 현지상황을 아래와 같이 업데이트 하였습니다.

주요 전문은 현재 일본내 확진자 수가 급증하고 있어, 일본정부에서는 재택근무를 각 기업에 권유한다는 내용입니다.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE CURRENT COVID-19 (CORONA) SITUATION IN JAPAN

Dear partners and our valued customers,

As the COVID-19 expands all over the world, now Japan is in almost the same situation to other countries. As of March 27^th, total positive cases in Japan increase to 1,402 and the death cases are 47 except the cruise cases. The Government of Japan established the emergency response headquarters on March 26^th. This makes the government to be able to announce the lockdown anytime.

Please note about sea and air activities in Japan, the important logistics chain in Japan is still working:

・all ports and airports

・shipping companies

・trucking companies

・warehouses

・customs offices

※airline offices are still open but the number of flights from/to Japan has been drastically decreasing. Unexpected suspension, reduction of flight frequency and schedule change might have been occurred and please understand that air freights are unfixed.

Since the number of COVID-19 cases has been rapidly increasing in Tokyo this week, Tokyo metropolitan government requested Tokyo residents and neighboring prefectures to refrain from going outside for nonessential reasons and stay indoor for self-isolation on March 25th. They also called on people to work at home on weekdays and avoid going out at night as much as possible.

We, Taiun Company in Tokyo, also respectfully responds to the request and now some of us starts working from home. We are fully operational for now, as we are one of the responsible freight forwarder companies, we are trying our best to keep up with this worldwide difficult situation.
